LEAVES EVERYWHERE~

Well, I promised myself I'd get some good pictures of the kids playing in the leaves this weekend before the rain started up again, and I still didn't get any. Or not many good ones anyway. Zoe was gone at a friends' house both times I had the camera out, and Max is starting this "run away from the evil camera" stage. He actually started crying the other day "Mom!!! No more pictures!!!!" I did get a few, but only one bribed pose and many back shots of him running away from me. Here's the leaves anyway. We spent the morning raking and bagging. Not all the leaves are even on the ground yet, and we've got a couple dozen filled alreay! YIKES! Seems to grow a couple bags every year!

A Fun Weekend
We had two sets of company this weekend. First our good friends Jon and Christy with their son Julian came over Thursday night. They had to leave early Saturday so that Julian wouldn't miss his basketball game back in Spokane, but we got a good couple days in. We celebrated Jon's 37th Birthday (he drew that little guy in the corner. Jon's quite the artist), and we had cake and went bowling and out to lunch, and later that night went to see "Flushed Away". Cute movie! Then Saturday night we had a surprise visit by Baran and April, another set of friends from Spokane! It was good to see everyone!

Two layouts done!

This first one uses Trish Jones' new "Keeping up with the Jonses-HOUSE" kit. It is so gorgeous, I'm just in love with the colors, textures and patterns!
