PINEWOOD DERBY CHAMPS!!!

PINEWOOD DERBY 2008
Max got 3rd Place out of all the Pack 20 kids. His buddies Dylan and Cooper got second and first place, so the three of them get to go to districts together this spring! It was quite the race! Lots of close calls and ties! Jeff and three other adults got to race their cars at the end. Jeff won, but when he raced against Max he lost, so I think the dads put all their energy into the kids' cars. As it should be.

LAYOUTS DONE!!
It was a fun weekend at SBB. I got three layouts done for the challenges. Well, two anyway, this first one started out as a five products only challenge, but then I had to add my own touches and fell out of the guidelines.

I used Creative Confusion's Just so Funky, plus goodies from the new SBB collab kit, "For the Love of"

When Max lost his life jacket last summer he had to wear his sisters old Tweetybird one. He didn't care though, he got to drive the boat!

This was a photo I took from my view at the ocean, sitting peacefully on a blanket, watching the birds, soaking in the sun, sipping my bottle of water, and snapping photos while everyone else froze their hineys off in the Pacific Ocean.
