My Sweet Family
and I celebrated the holiday beginning last night. Jeff brought me home a gorgeous bouquet of flowers! The kids knew they'd have goodies when they woke up (as usual) so I stayed up late and prepared the table! Jeff and I had so much homework last night that we had to leave it out to continue in the morning (hence the laptop and all the papers).
When I woke up this morning the kids were excited to dig into their goodies. They each received a giant candybar (wrapped in a personalized wrapper, teehehee), and a box of small chocolates. We got Zoe a new pretty scarf and Max another little nerf football to bring to school for recess. I got Jeff some goodies too, and then he surprised me with the cutest card that he made (instead of finishing the correcting of his papers) this morning. What a sweetie, and so original, LOL!
The card reads,

How original is that? It made my day.
Tonight we went out for dinner, got a little phone call into the Grandparents, and had chocolate for dessert. We have a busy weekend ahead, visiting family, so you'll hear more from me later!
