I Added a New Species...
...to my bird tally while at camp. These birds were chattering away and jumping from tree to tree in a threesome. I thought they must for sure be Downey or Hairy Woodpeckers (although it was hard to tell since they were in between their sizes). Low and behold, after blowing them up in Photoshop...
Red Naped Sapsuckers. This adds to my Sapsucker count this year, as I just spotted my first (a Red Breasted Sapsucker) a couple months ago (see previous post).
