BUSY TIMES

I know, I've been a bad blogger lately. Just been so overwhelmed with so many new adventures going on in my life right now! The subbing is going very well. Last week I worked at the high school, subbed for Jeff one day and the high school History teacher the next. It was fun!!! I felt a little intimidated, the kids are taller than me, but they were very good for the most part. Friday I subbed at the grade school for a teacher's aide. It was different...I was all over the school working with several different teachers and kids, but it was fun! I ran into the principal in the hall and he asked if I could be a "floater" sub for the next 5 or 6 days because they have some aide work that needs done. Not exactly sure what I'll be doing but it's steady work for a while anyway! Anyway, a long week over and we had a fun weekend too! Grandma and Grandpa came to visit, and that's always a treat. We have our traditional Friday night pizza whenever they come up and then Saturday Max had his first soccer game so they got to go watch. Jeff's folks always stay at the hotel in town with the pool so the kids get to enjoy a swim Saturday afternoon, followed by a big dinner in the evening and then tea and cookies and a board game.

Croquet in the Yard
It's been a pretty lazy Sunday around here today. Max has given Zoe and me his cold so we're feeling pretty blah, not like doing much of anything. Zoe's been reading and I've been messing around on the computer, or course. Jeff and Max had some fun in the yard and I snuck out to take a few pictures. Max is quite the little croquet player! He set up this course for him and daddy. Jeff's grass looks pretty good still, considering it's almost officially "fall" hu? He's been battling crab grass and weeds all summer long!!! I tell him it's a useless battle because I'm sure that the icky seeds come in with our irrigation water, but right now the front and side yard are looking pretty plush!!

New Products in the Store
Well, not completely new. I've brought back my summer freebie "Ocean Blues" for sale in the store because I had several requests for it. I've included the "bonus alpha", you can find it right HERE

And here's a new fun little kit to get you in the mood for our family's favorite holiday!!! Not sure why we love Halloween so much, if it's the crisp fall air, the dressing up and fooling, the fun decorations, or the huge party we have every year, but I'm sure to have more goodies in the store soon! This "huge" mini kit is called "Evening Out", and you'll find it RIGHT HERE

Lastly, Here's a Sneak Peak
at a new product I'm working on. I'm calling them "Match Books" because they resemble a matchbook in the way they open and close. The entire little album (it's approximately 3 1/2" long and 2 1/2" wide) is composed of PNG formatted pages that you create by simply sticking a photo on the layer beneath using your favorite editing software. Print them, cut them, stack them and staple or rivet them together. You can embellish them further with ribbon, fiber, rivets, brads, whatever you wish. What a quick and easy way to give multiple little gifts. This particular one was made using my "Sunflower" mini kit. I'd like to make several styles so if there is some theme you think you would use more, drop me a comment. I aim to please.
