OK, photos as promised
First, here's the kids on the rides! Zoe is quite the thrill seeker ever since our trip to Silverwood this spring so she had to do the fastest spinners they had!! Luckily she ran into a friend to ride with because I would have never done it! See the arrow, pointing to her?? And Max, he is just happy sitting on the little motorcycle and honking the horn. Actually, I think Zoe would love those too, if they would still let her ride them!!
Here's a collage of the kids with their entries and ribbons! I just love that watercolor painting of the Indian woman that Zoe did. I guess she was hanging in the halls at school all last year and I didn't even know it existed until she brought it home in June! Max was pretty tickled to get two blue ribbons. Especially for his self portrait which he has spent so much time on.... Look, it looks just like him, smile and all!
And my three photos I entered this year...
One is a storyboard of our beloved baby ducks that we raised and set free last spring!!! I miss them. That was such a neat experience for our whole family! I also entered a sunset shot of Max and Jeff while in Westport on vacation, and an old truck I saw on the side of the road. I received three first place ribbons.
Lastly, I took this photo for my friend Julia, so you better be reading my blog girl!!! They had a bird show this year and I got to be front and center, a couple feet away from this enormous, magnificent bird!! We have Great Horned Owls in our neighborhood from time to time, but I've never been so close to one! Look at those feet!!!

What a great pic of the girl spinning on the ride! Was that in the middle of the ride spinning??????
Congrats Amy! Your pictures are spectacular and your kids artwork is just precious! We are going to have to look in to fun things like that for next year's fair!
