MY WEEK'S ACCOMPLISHMENTS

DIGISCRAPSHAK IS HAVING A NEW BLOGGER CHALLENGE
You can check it out for yourself RIGHT HERE!
What were my accomplishments this week? Well, I have three, so bear with me.
First of all, I hit the slopes alone with my daughter for the very first time on Monday morning! The beginning of the winter last year I would actually consider myself a "non skier" and now, look at me! Thanks to Jeff who has drug me up that hill several times over the last couple winters to face my fears of barreling down an icy hill in subzero weather (sounds great hu?) I've learned a new thing. And to tell the honest truth, I have a BLAST! It still scares me every time I jump off that ski lift at the top of the hill (hey, at least I can make it off the lift without falling this year!), but by the time I get down to the bottom I'm ready to head up again.

So here Zoe and I are on our adventure. Jeff stayed on the junior hill with Max all morning to work on his skiing techniques and Zoe and I got three runs in. It was FREEZING! OK, check out the ice cicles hanging off of Zoe's hair. And see the snow in the air while we're on the lift. No, it's not snowing, just blowing off the tops of the trees. It was so cold the snow wouldn't even stick to the trees! Our hill has a new remodeled indoor bathroom this year (yippeee) and we took a break to warm up in it's coziness. Too funny, we couldn't get a good picture of us because the mirror kept fogging up. Check out our red cheeks!

ACCOMPLISHMENT NUMBER 2
I've been sticking to my diet! I haven't been getting in much exercise, which is the next goal (although the ski day has my legs pretty sore!), but I ate very well, drank plenty of water and got more sleep, which are three of my new year's goals! I will loose this extra 10 pounds I've packed on over the last couple years! Spring is right around the corner and I plan on fitting into those short shorts once again!

ACCOMPLISHMENT NUMBER 3
OK, this is a BIGGIE! A friend of mine convinced me to take the plunge and apply to another digiscrap store. I was planning on doing it this summer anyway, because I know I'll have more designing time once break gets here, but I thought, what the heck, I'll give it a shot. And guess what? I was invited to join the new PLAIN DIGITAL WRAPPER!!!! Woo Hoo, I'm so excited! I'm not going to leave Digiscrapshak by any means, nor will I stop adding new products to my store there. This will just be another store, with another group of products for you all! I'll be designing new and different things for each store regularly, and begin selling at PDW on Feb. 1st. Be watching for more details and some previews of my new mini collection. PDW will be having their Grand Re-Opening the middle of the month as well, so keep your eyes and ears peeled for more news!

Love that closeup shot of Zoe! I've never skied....probably would kill myself trying, but DH wants to try snowboarding. Ugh!

Looking forward to the new minikit lineup!

Great goals and good for you for sticking with them! That's not an easy accomplishment and takes ALOT of discipline, but looks like you're doing it the right way, little pieces and changes at a time!
