If you're the Dave Matthew's Band Fan that I am, you are singing in your head by now!
PINEWOOD DERBY
And the Second Place winner is.....
He was so excited! The race was tough. I don't know, maybe it was tougher on the Moms than the kids to watch them race neck to neck with their best buddies. The races were so close, as you can see in the photo! Jeff and Steve were the judges (remember the birthday boys from a couple weeks back). So now that Max received second for our pack, he'll get to go to the District finals and race again! Jeff got to race his "cheese wedge" car also, and received a second place ribbon! I won't tell you how many adults there were in that race, but it was a close one!
I SCRAPPED!
Yeah for me. That was one of my weekend goals! I actually got two done, but one is for Trish's new newsletter so you won't be able to see that one until it's out. If you haven't signed up for her newsletter yet, you best be doing that! It's HUGE and cram packed full of great info and freebies. Personally, I can't wait for mine so that I can put up a new February Calendar (she has a free template each month). One month closer to spring!!! Subscribe for Trish Jones' monthly newsletter RIGHT HERE!
WHAT DID I DO THIS WEEKEND?
Well, I got to go for a walk with my good walking buddy Julia yesterday! It has been a few months since we did! I'm hoping we are starting a new habit, I love going on regular weekend walks. Look at this gorgeous valley we live in. We saw tons of hawks (like the one here) looking for food over the frozen tundra! We even saw an American Kestrel and a Golden Eagle (click those if you want to see more).
MORE SNEAK PEEKS!
of the new stuff, coming to a NEW STORE near you, very, very soon! I should be ready to roll in the the new store at Pliandigitalwrapper.com by the end of the week. I'm also working on some new goodies for my store at Digiscrapshak.com! Stay tuned!
HAVE A GOOD WEEK EVERYONE!
I'm sure I will have a busy one. Today I've got the kids set up to have friends over or leave to go skiing for the afternoon. I'm going to get this house in tip-top shape, change the sheets, wash some laundry, etc. and then I must do the one thing I've been putting off since I closed the daycare last June. Taxes! UUUGH. I've got parents that need tax info before the end of the month, expenses to log, totals to figure, receipts, receipts and more receipts! Not looking forward to it. I'd much rather be playing with the kids, or you guessed it, scrapping! Wish me luck!

Oh my gosh....that cheese wedge car is just too funny! I know we have a fire truck and an army tank that will be racing on Tuesday! I'll be putting up a pic of my little guys (and DH's two winning cars from years past) on my blog today!
