SHORT POST, NEW TOY!!!!

IT WAS INEVITABLE REALLY.......
We were on vacation, I was at the "Tillamook Cheese Factory".... what a perfect photo op for a bunch of Cheesemans right? and my camera was freaking out! Every photo I took was over exposed and washed out. Really bad!!! I should have an example to show you, but I don't. You'll just have to take my word for it. Well... a couple weeks later, it's still happening. Not all the time, just about half of the time, or actually a little more often than that. I'm sorry, but I can't have that perfect shot ruined by over exposure, I just can't. So when I told Jeff I wanted to use a little of my digi money (we've been saving for next summer's vacation ever since I started selling last September) to buy a new camera he was all for it. What a sweetheart! He's like, "OK, let's go to Walmart and look NOW!". Mind you, we live in the middle of nowhere with ONLY a Wal-Mart, nothing else, and the worst part was that we had just had a really bad thunderstorm and rain all night (actually the rain was good, it helped put out a big wildfire near us), but our cable was messed up and internet was out all day so we couldn't get online and compare models or reviews. I took a gamble and bought a camera. My friends Jill and Lisa have Canons, although different models. And growing up my mom had a Canon, and (correct me if I'm wrong Mom?) I think my Aunt Linda had a Canon. Well, I got this one. It's the Canon Power Shot S3, and I'm absolutley LOVING IT! I was never really happy with our Fuji FinPix (sorry Fuji). It didn't take decent photos in our dark living room (this one does), the transaction between photos was very slow (this one is quick. I think it was like .1 of a second between shots), and one thing I'm really excited about is the way it automatically adjusts my orientation. So I take a photo on the cameras side (portrait) and it automatically adjusts it to fit the LCD as well as the computer once transfered to landscape. How cool is that? Here's the camera.
And HERE'S THE REVIEWS and SPECS if anyone is interested.

More later I'm sure, but here's some photos I took today. Absolutely NO EDITING or ACTIONS applied! Straight from the camera! That hummer was way up there. Probably 15 to 20 feet away from me (and only a couple inches big). Our little froggies are crawling out of the tank more and more every day. They are a little blurry here, but I am loving the way the water looks in the photo.
