I have so many photos to share!!!! It will take me a few days (or more, I am sure), so I'll start with the really pretty ones.
SUNSET WALK
Jeff and I headed out behind my Grandma's house on Thursday night (our last night in Arizona) to take a hike through the desert and get some sunset shots of the Suguaro Cactus. These giants are amazing. I guess it takes 80 years before a Suguaro grows just one arm. If you look very closely you will even see a little bird or two silhouetted on the cactus. The prickly looking cactus on what looks like a tree trunk is a Cholla Cactus. They are really cool to look at and have amazing blooms, but watch out, they will getcha! I ended up with one in my shin on this walk (went right through my jeans) and now, two days later I have a huge black bruise and an itchy leg. I think I must have punctured a vein or something! Yuk! Anyway, enjoy the view. What a gorgeous evening....
And then look what we drove home in...Yikes! Good thing we decided to leave our snow tires on before we left. Look at that pile of snow on the right side of the road going over the pass! It's going to be awhile before that melts!
ANOTHER MUST SEE, Crossed off the list...
It's probably silly, but I really wanted to visit the University of Phoenix headquarters while we were in Phoenix and get a picture. Turns out it was right within a couple blocks of the airport and we had some time to waste. Of course after stopping to take these pictures and grab a Starbucks in the "Scholar's Cafe," we hit the road again and saw three more U of P buildings including one that was dedicated totally to the on-line University. We also saw a couple buildings while in Seattle, so I guess U of P is everywhere!
OK, that's all for now. I've got a lot of homework to catch up on, and I'm actually working on a bit of designing this evening. I'll try to post more tomorrow!
Night!

Great photos! Glad you got a chance to partake a little more in our ongoing winter. Home sweet home eh?
Oh my gosh! The photos of the cactus sillouhettes are wonderful! It makes me want to go visit again! I wanna take the boys on a hike in the mountains like I used to do growing up. Looks like a great vacation and some wonderful design inspiration!
