WHATA WEEKEND!!

DAVE MATTHEWS BAND ROCKED THE HILLSIDE...
...once again! This was Jeff and my fifth year to see the boys play at the Gorge Amphitheatre in George. This venue is one of fans' favorites. The view is awesome, the sound superior, and the crowd enthusiastic (to say the least).

I don't know how many thousands attend exactly, but I've never seen so many happy campers in one spot~! We stayed right there at the overly crowded campground with Jon, Christy, Baran and April, but this time our spot wasn't too bad actually. We ended up right up against the back fence and had a great view of the hillside full of people. I already can't wait until next year. Thank you to our great friends that let our kids crash at their houses while we went out to play!

The show was fantastic! Tim Reynolds was playing guitar back with the band for the first time in 10 years!! After the sad and unexpected death of saxophone player LeRoi Moore, we weren't sure what to expect. The band displayed a heart filled slide show memorial at the end of the show. Jeff Coffin from Bela Fleck and the Flecktones has been sitting in with the band since June. No one could ever replace the jam power play out of LeRoi, however, Jeff did a great job! I'm not sure when this video was recorded, but here's a snippet of how well Jeff played with the band.

SOME NEW GOODIES
for the scrappers. I've created two affordable frills packs that each contain 21 unique and realistic flowers for your pages. You can find both packs, "Blooms" and "Nosegays" in my store at Scrapbookbytes.

Playing Catchup...
Here are the kiddos on the first day of school! They were both very eager to get out the door that morning. In fact Max was sitting at the dining room table at 6:45 a.m. ready to go! We had to entertain him for another hour before I could take him there.

I haven't shared any scrapbook pages in awhile, so here are a few of my latest. You can find complete credits in my gallery at SBB.

I guess that's it for now. I just finished up an eight week class and I'm excited to start a new one tomorrow. Three more courses and I'll be doing my student teaching, WOOOHOOO!

Have a great week everyone!
