I HAVE SOOOO MUCH TO DO!!!!

This weekend I have so much to do that I don't even know where to begin. The kids have been so busy with scout already last night and this is a "ski patrol" weekend for Jeff! Because I was gone last weekend the house is in desparate need of cleaning, and laundry is behind. I've got design deadlines to reach and I have yet to sit down at the new computer and do a single scrap layout. The internet is giving me serious issues (I'm thinking it may have something to do with the network we've set up or something, but it's happening on both computers, the internet just keeps kicking me off). In fact this is the THIRD time I've tried blogging today, so let me go back this up RIGHT NOW before I move on. BRB......

...good, that was a sucessful atttempt.

STILL IN THE SHOPPING MOOD

with Jeff's extra money this month. Jeff and I ordered these last night from ebags.com. They are having a great sale if you are looking for any type of bag, luggage, brief cases, laptop bags, backpacks. Jeff was in desparate need of a new school bag and picked this one out.

and here's the one I picked to carry my new laptop in (it didn't come with a case, so it's been parked on my dining room table). Isn't this cute???? It doubles as a lap case (hence laptop) so I can use it in the car on trips, etc. Retreat in April....HERE I COME.

and here are the three that I really, really liked, but had to pass on. They were just WAY out of my price range. But great eye candy anyway. Who needs a boring old black laptop bag when you could be sporting one of these.

OH MY GOSH!!!! I AM HAVING SO MANY ISSUES
with my internet! I've been trying to make this post since last night, no kidding!!!! Everytime I start to get somewhere the internet crashes, and then won't work again for about an hour or so. I'm thinking it's our cable or something, but Jeff isn't home right now and I'll be darned if I'm going to call and talk to that internet company again. They always start directing you to "unplug this" and "replug that", etc. and I get very frustrated and a bit confused. Yesterday when I called they actually put me through to an automated recorded voice that was walking me through the steps. Thing is, Jeff knows exactly what to do, so when he gets home I'll just have him look at it. Unfortunately I don't think there's much he can do. I'll have to make a call on Monday and probably have a service call to the house! EEEEEKKKK, I'm going crazy. Hold on, let me save this before it disappears....

....OK, I'm back. So, I've gotten my March PDW project done, and my new kit for DSS done and uploading to the FTP as we speak! Yeah!!!! Only a couple more things to get done this weekend. I'm hoping to spend some good time with the kids tomorrow because Jeff has tons of Ski Patrol stuff to do (homework, he's learning it all!!!!), and we have friends coming over tonight for dinner. Zoe's friend from Spokane is visiting so it should be fun.

DANG!!!! Got kicked off again! I'll try to do this fast so I can publish!!!

I had a blogger comment the other day and ask where I got the idea for the candy bar bouquet and asked what I used for the sticks. I hot glued lolipop sticks onto the candy and stuck them into florist foam in the botoom of the bucket. I used LuAnn (from DSS)'s awesome newsletter printables for the design of the wrappers. If you haven't signed up for the DSS newsletter you should do so now RIGHT HERE!

And LuAnn gave me a sneak peek at her project this month. She used my "Ocean Blues" kit to make this adorable plaque for her daughter's room.

OK, and Lastly, Check out this thread at DST for info on a fun contest that PDW's Betsy has put together for us all this weekend. You could win over $50 in free stuff coupons to PlainDigitalWrapper's designers stores. You won't want to pass up this HUGE Grab Bag that we all put together. It's only $2 at PDW and you'll find it RIGHT HERE! Trust me on this one! It's HUGE! Or if you are in the shopping mood and spend $10 at PDW you can get the grab bag for free.

So, I have lots of those tree pictures ready to share with you too, but I don't think I better try to get anthing else up at the moment. I'll save it for tomorrow, when I should also have some previews to share. Jeff just got home and said he saw a "Charter Communications" truck driving up the street, so I'm wondering if we may not be the only ones having problems. Wish me luck!

That's a really cute laptop bag! I like the pink ribbon one too! Still trying to talk DH into getting me a laptop! LOL!

I recognized your brad sprinkling right away when I seen that preview at DST yesterday. Of course, I had to go pick it up! Great stuff in there!

I hope you get your internet issues worked out soon....that sure does stink. Life without the computer.

Have a great day!
