Had a fun weekend away! It was so warm on Saturday, 68 degrees and sunny! I got to have a nice visit with my parents and my brother and sister-in-law and my two adorable nieces. Here's the baby sleeping on the couch right before heading out. I think she was worn out.
And one of Zoe and Mckenna!
We went to the park on Sunday, maybe I'll get some of those photos posted the next time. We fed the ducks and geese and even the squirrels and then climbed in the big trees!!!! If any of you have ever been to "Pioneer Park" in Walla Walla, I'd love to hear your comments. I grew going to this park and it's so gorgeous! The trees seems like they've stayed the same for 30 years, and I'm quite sure they are very, very old. O.K., that has convinced me to post some tree photos the next time. They are truly amazing trees!!!!
I came home to a new laptop computer sitting on the table. My sweetheart husband even set it up for me, installed my Photoshop and Office and had my filters CDs all out for me. He even networked the baby for me, so I could connect to the old computer and access all my "stuff". I'm thrilled. Jeff and the kids seem happy too, to have more than one available computer in the house, LOL! It had to happen eventually. I made my first desktop screen. No "microsoft/XP freebies" on this sweet machine. Check out the dimensions of my new screen!! I love the extra width, it's going to be so awesome to design on.
What a site this was! And a little adventure for me and the kids. We saw this Eagle up in a tree on the side of the highway going through Moses Lake on the drive home yesterday. We decided (well, I decided, the kids weren't too thrilled) to stop and turn around and get a closer look. Well...I took the first left thinking I'd just turn around, and ended up on I-90 heading East. It was a good few miles before I was able to get off and turn around. I kept jokingly saying "oh no, we're going to get lost", until I heard Max crying in the backseat. I'm afraid he really did believe we'd never make it home. Poor Mr. Sensitive he is.... I reassured him that I'd find the Eagle (even though I questioned it myself, LOL!), and here's the photo we got. She was just amazing. We upset her hunting a bit so she took flight, and she flew up into the sky and circled us a few times. Very cool!
