OH, MY!!! Did I have an awesome day!!!
I helped several students that were falling behind get back on task and caught up in class, I witnessed a "behavior problem child" be kind and appreciative, I had a student thank me for giving him the extra help he needed but was afraid to ask for, and I observed several normally "rough and tough" sixth grade boys create and enjoy poetry (and share them out loud in class), I was entertained by an awesome assembly put on by two very talented and motivational Native American artists who boosted the entire middle school's attitude towards themselves and one another, and last but not least I finished coordinating and supporting the last of the senior class with their Culminating Project Panel presentations tonight. I've had three night this week where I didn't get to kiss my kids goodnight because I gave my time to others' children instead of my own, and as hard as it was.... it was so worth it! I'm feeling good people.. so let's celebrate. Here's a little coupon for you.

I'm looking so forward to this weekend! Time with the family and just to get caught up. I'm going to get my new SBB store ready for a launch, soon to be announced, and take some well deserved photos. It's turning into spring around here right before my eyes, and it's been so busy I'm afraid I'm missing it! I've got the big NORTH WEST RETREAT next weekend, and I have planning and packing to do. Of course I better do the loads of laundry I have first! Maybe I'll even get some scrapping done!!
