LOTS GOING ON.....

BIG WEEKEND...

...here! Maxy Boy is turning "7" in the morning and we've had my parents here this weekend to help celebrate. Jeff's parent's were here last weekend to take him out for dinner and shopping and he had a party at school on Friday so it's been quite a week for him. The "friends from school" party is tomorrow, but we've been celebrating here all day. I took the most darling photos of Max at dinner tonight at the Mexican Restaurant in town where they took his photo and sang to him in a sombrero. I'm sure you'll all see them very soon. We all left early this morning to head north for an out of town soccer game and then when we got home My Mom and I and the kids walked down to the ice cream parlor for goodies. Here's a few photos. Zoe had this HUGE sundae, my mom and I ice cream sodas, and Max had Monster's Inc. Bubblegum ice cream that ended up having "7" pieces of bubble gum in it. How perfect is that?

PRETTY PRETTIES....
....in my yard. Check out the favorite tulips in bloom right now. Zoe loves the red one the most, I actually have always loved my candy cane tulips. We never planted any of these, they've just been blooming since we bought the place 9 years ago. One of these years I should dig them up and divide them the way a good gardener would do, LOL! Some day! Until then they are wild and free!

THE HAWK RETURNS..
..or maybe he never left, he's just been living up at Lisa's house up the hill. Her daughter took these photos of a crow dive bombing at it the other night. What awesome photography...and from an 11 year old. Way to go Ana! Wow, what a huge bird.
