...happened two nights ago. When I was home for my lunch to let the puppy out to pee I brought the camera out too. It had froze during the night for the first time and now everything is flat...as a pancake! Check out our beautiful, humongous pumpkin plant (the same one we posed in front of for our family self portrait about a month ago), smooshed to the ground with the only pumpkin we got off of it! It didn't even turn orange, but just a pale yellow!
MY BRAIN IS TIRED....
If you don't hear much from me over the next couple weeks you will know why. I have a couple products to get into the store, and a "secret" sale to announce but other than that, I'm pretty much going to be MIA for a couple weeks. I am wrapping up the last two weeks of MTE505 Early Childhood and Adolescent Development, which means I have two big papers and a power point presentation to finish. I've been working on finishing a team project that I (stupidly, is that a word?) took leadership on, plus all the usual weekly assignments and readings. I usually spend a great deal of my weekends working on school work, but since I will be in Spokane taking the West B exam next weekend I am trying to get all my work done before then. I am so looking forward to next Saturday night when we can go out with Jon and Christy, assignments and tests behind me and celebrate Jon's 38th Bday! UUUGH we are getting old aren't we? Can't wait to visit with friends and have a relaxing time!
DOGGIES GOT SOME GOODIES
today! This is gross, and a little disgusting. So...don't look if you are weak at heart or an extreme animal lover, because you will be as disturbed as I was when the family walked in today with these goodies. Jeff and Zoe went out today in search of something for dear Lily to chew on. Her and Anya are driving us nuts with their constant wrestling and playing. So Jeff went out looking for an oral substitute, and here is what he found at the local feed store....Pig Snouts and Cow's feet!
UUUGH. Outside ladies...take it outside! And they did...and look at the fabulous photo Zoe took! She is such a great photographer, I'm so proud of her.
Just a couple other photos to share...
Here's Lily, looking cute in the fall leaves. She really is an evil girl. She is barking at everyone and so untrusting. We are trying really hard to get her familiar with people and getting her to trust. She is getting better, but if you come by our home, bring a treat for her so she will be your friend (uuugh, and she wears sweaters, what are we going to do?)
Max had his buddy Shane over today. They are so darn cute. They raked a path through the leaves and then came inside, handed me my camera and asked me to come take the tour. It was a fun path through the yard. I can't believe how fast the leaves are coming!
Wanted to share....
Donna Rafferty from PDW sent me a link to download her fabuous Haunted Labels this week. She saw my Halloween decorations on the blog and knew we'd have some fun uses for these clever labels! Check them out, and thank you so much Donna!!!
And you'll have to swing by my new neighbor and friend Kendal's blog and see her fabulous photography! Kendal came by the other day and visited (and brought me cookies, what a sweet thing to do. She's the new neighbor, isn't it me that is suppose to bring her cookies?) Anyway, I think between me and Lisa B we've got her addicted to digi! Welcome to the craze Kendal!
