AN EARLY WEEKEND UPDATE! and a SALE!!!!!

HALLOWEEN
was so much fun! Well, it has been more fun in the past, of course, when we've had all our friends over to trick or treat and visit with. I had homework, but I worked hard and got it all done by 8ish. The kids had a blast and were still able to meet up with a few friends to walk down the street with. We let Zoe go out trick or treating with a group of 7th graders for the first time without us this year too. I think she really enjoyed the freedom. It's a busy neighborhood where we live. Everyone from out of town drives to this neighborhood in particular just to go trick or treating. Some houses have counted over 300 trick or treaters before! Yikes~! I think we probably hit about 100 ourselves last night, and we're a bit off the beaten path. Anyway, here are the kids and some photos of their pumpkins they carved. Zoe looked so grown up! She made her own cloak this year and we made her broom a couple years ago the first time she was a sorceress. I was glad to see her use it again! Max wore almost the identical outfit a couple years ago also, but we added a wig this year! I told him he looked just like Dumbledore. If only he had a beard.

and The Candy!! Teeeehehehe! Jeff set up this shot for me after Max fell asleep on the couch after all of the excitement!

I'M IN LOVE....
with this table!!! It finally came yesterday afternoon, and it is more gorgeous than I could have imagined. It was kind of scary ordering such a large item from a catalog without seeing it first, but we are friends with the furntiture store owners and they assured us that this company's furniture was great quality. Wow! The hue is PERFECT for our rich deep love of color. It's like a deep mahogany red/brown. And the material is a perfect match to our microfiber couch (see in background). It's like they were made for each other. The kids have been having so much fun writing our names in the microfiber to show our place settings for dinner. This table is also big!!! Here it is, without the leaf in and without the two extra chairs that came with it! Loving my new table! Woohooo!!!

OK, and last but not least...
It's NATIONAL DIGITAL SCRAPBOOK DAY
this Saturday. Don't miss all the fabulous prizes, chats and sales at Scrapbookbytes this weekend! I'll be off taking my big TEST this weekend, so I may start my sale a little early (and it may last a little longer than a day also), so grab up all my goodies for 30% off while you can! Have fun playing!

I barely recognized Max when he came to the door with that wig on :0) I can't believe how many trick or treaters make it around. We certainly didn't have very many though.

Good luck on you test!
