Yep, I don't usually find time in the week these days to make a new blog post, but I've been working on getting these photos ready since Sunday, and finally have them set to go. The week is well underway, but I don't have anymore school work to do until tomorrow, and the night is young (it is only 10:30 p.m.) so I thought I'd get some photos up from Max's party weekend. Thanks so much for coming up Mom and Dad, it means a lot to Max and us that you were here to share. Aunt Vernie, we missed you, but we're already planning for next year!
Let me just say that....
BOWLING PARTIES ROCK!!!
or they are "Cooolio..." as big sister would say!
Now, I'm not saying I'd want to do one every year, I'd really miss all the coordination and planning of a fun themed party, but this year was definitley an exception. For a flat rate fee per child, you have as many lanes as you need (we took up 3 with our 14 bowling kids), a soda for each, a "souvenier bowling pin" for all your guests to sign, a hanging decoration with your name on it, and free bowling passes for everyone to take home. That's not all you get, however, (do I sound like an infomercial yet?)....act now and you'll also recieve hassle free planning, plenty of room for children to run, roam, and mingle, a garbage can to fill with wrapping paper, plates, cups, and all undesireables, cake clean-up (even with red and blue frosting), and a fully stocked arcade to entertain while you await the parent's pick up. Yes, it was a great party. And most importantly, Max thought it was pretty cool that Mom wasn't taking over and leading all the activities, games, and crafts for a change.
FOR GRANDMA and GRANDPA F.
Max just wanted to send you a sincere thank you for the 25 pound box of asparagus that you brought him AGAIN this year!!! LOL!
ONE MORE...
Here's Max with his sombrero on at the best little Mexican Restaurant around. We love it anyway.
I've got a couple new scrap kits in the works. I don't know when I'll ever be able to finish them, but hey, there's only three more weeks of tennis, two more of soccer, and a month of softball. Time allowances are showing gains in the near future.
