DH came home last night after his usual long day at work and 1st mowed the lawn, 2nd build a duck lid, 3rd got my blog working better, all before he had to leave out of town for three days! What a guy! I'm so glad he understands this html stuff! It really does make sense, but it's still another language! Today's list: learn how to post photos, make a blog blinkie for my forum postings, maybe do a little scrapping tonight. I'm also starting to jot down ideas for some designing, for the near future. Should be fun.
So Duck lid? Yes, we adopted two abandoned baby ducks a couple weeks ago. Two weeks ago tomorrow. Zoe calls them "Mo" and "Jo", Max has dubbed them "Jack" and "Jill", I just call them a handful but cute! Anyway, without a lid ontop of their make-shift duck kennel they had no where safe to sleep at night except my bedroom, and they sure were getting stinky, I'll tell you! Plus they are eating 5 times as much as they were in the beginning and they were waking me every few hours for more food. I could hear them in their little ducky box at night tipping over water dishes and tapping at an empty food dish. So first night outside went over just fine. Cat didn't get them and they didn't freeze (although it is quite cold out there still, around 45 I think. So let me mark one thing off my list today and see if I can't get a couple photos posted here to leave you with. The ducks follow us everywhere we go, it's qutie a game for Max to play. Have a nice day, my imaginary audience (and maybe my Mom, HI MOM!!!)

Hi Amy! You got your blog up and running pretty quick! It looks good so far.. You can add backgrounds and fun stuff to blogger, too. That's something typepad doesn't let you do unless you have the Pro version. Go figure.
Love the ducks.. so cute! You must live on a farm or out in the country, I'm guessing? Do you have a pond for them to live in when they get older?
Well, when you do get some scrapbooking designs done and need someplace to store them, www.4shared.com is a place you can try. I used it, still do actually, when I used blogger for my blog. Lots of free space and bandwidth. No hassles or anything... check it out. Good luck!
