We're Back!!!

We had a great trip
south visiting family for a few days! It is always hard to make that long trip because it takes an entire day to get there and another one to get back. We usually only get to do it a couple times a year. Jeff's entire family lives in the area as well as my brother so it is always hard to get around to see everyone and spend any quality time. This time we had 6 days though, and it made all the difference! We stayed at Jeff's sister's house. Her and her husband have two kids that get along so well with our two. They always have a great time together. We made it over to my brother's twice to see the new baby too! She is so sweet, I just couldn't get enough of her! Of course my Mom (they were there visiting also) made her usual comments about having another one myself, but all the snuggling with the baby satisfied me just fine! Here's a cute one I took of Max giving his youngest cousin a kiss on the cheek. He wouldn't put her down either. In fact I think we got in a couple fights over her a time or two! He'd love to have a baby brother or sister also, but when I inform him that that would mean he was no longer the "baby" he stopped asking. He kindof likes that role I think.

Celebration
What a fun way to spend the 4th! We headed a little farther south to Jeff's brother's house for the 4th of July! He and his wife and the kids live in a great neighborhood that puts on a huge fireworks display each year. Their home-owner's association funds the entire show. It was GREAT! The best part is that their house is butted right up against the park that hosts the display, so we just hung out and BBQ'd with their houseful of guests, swam in their pool and then walked out the backdoor to the show when it started.
