BAD, BAD BLOGGER, I AM!

I'm getting worse and worse, I know, about keeping up on this. Friends and Family who look towards the blog regularly to see what in the heck we are up to, I apologize. We're entering the busy season. Don't worry, it will all be over in June (ha, ha, ha!!!) Really, I love our lifestyle. I don't know what I would do without the rush, rush of our daily routines, mixed with the lazy, laid back days of summers off and vacation time. Anyway, I felt you all should know. We are still here, busy and happy and lovin' life! I got to "sub" (now that I'm so good at it) for Jeff tonight at Max's cub scout meeting. We had a great time! I've been keeping busy at school this week and have entered the world of "special education" where I am working with one child on an individual basis. He is quite a challenge, but I love a challenge and he's actually made me learn a lot about myself this week, and I hope I've helped him as much! I'll be working with him every day until he either A. MOVES, which looks likely or B. THEY DECIDE TO HIRE SOMEONE FULL TIME TO HELP HIM, in which case I will most likely move onto my next sub job! In the mean time, I've had two hours off every afternoon before the kids get home to clean up the house, get things ready for the evening and prepare for soccer, boyscouts, girlscouts, Jeff's college night class, do laundry, etc., etc.

Not much designing lately, but I am starting a new little secret project. There's a group of gals over at DSS that are putting in requests for digiscrappin' ideas and I think I may be getting several requests into just a couple matching kits. Look for them by this weekend!!!


CT CALL!!!!
I've been seriously overwhelmed and surprised that so many people have applied for my CT call! Considering I'm a brand new designer and that it's only been a few days since I posted the call, I'm feeling so honored! To be honest I was only putting out a call because the owner at the site I sell at was suggesting it. I'm really not much of an "in your face" kind of person. I have a really hard time being put in the spotlight. It's kindof funny really, as I look at it in a "relating to real life" situation, I've been taking all kinds of risks and big steps in my life the last couple months. Anyway, This CT call is becoming so difficult for me to deal with that I'm going to pull the ads tomorrow and make a decision. The fact that everyone who has applied is totally awesomely talented and I have to turn down so many is overwhelming!! My original plan was to have a very small, intimate 5 or 6 people. Now it's looking like 9 or 10 and I wish I could take on all of you, but my family life just can't handle that kindof a commitment right now! I hope you all understand as I send out letter this weekend. A great big personal Thank You to all who have applied! I really, really appreciate your kind words!
