It's been one of those fabulous fall weekends with nothing to do but play and enjoy the weather while it's still warm. Well, I can't say "nothing to do" because I did spend several hours cleaning the house today, but now that it's done I can play again, right?
Friday there was a HUGE football game at school. It was somewhat of a "backyard brawl" as they were calling it, with our neighboring town so the seats were filled and then some. Jeff sells concessions at the games and said they brought in $1,800 that night. And the ticket sales alone were $6,000. That's pretty impressive from a rural high school game I think! There were people selling programs, and t-shirts and raffle tickets too so I'm sure some money was raised there as well. The game was so so close. We were tied in the end and went into triple overtime. They beat us in the end, but it was darn close!! Then after the game we went up to friends' house and stayed up way, way too late. Let's just say we had omelets for breakfast (at 2 a.m.) before we headed home to go to bed! Here's a picture of me and the kids heading out to the game with red and gray spray paint in their hair!
Saturday morning Max had a soccer game, and then we all headed back home for some catch-up rest from the night before (and I got some playing time on the computer, who needs sleep?), but before we came home I insisted we swing by the grade school to take a picture of this GORGEOUS tree that I've been looking at all week. I new if I didn't get there this weekend to get a photo I'd be too late and the leaves would have fallen off. I just love this time of year!!!
Today
I finished up a new line of products to put into the store tomorrow and got a scrap page done of that gorgeous tree and my equally gorgeous children. My new line is called "brad sprinklings" and it takes all the work out of creating those gorgeous handmade paper pages where people painstakingly attach several brads to a background paper to create a look like this one.

I've got four "Brad Sprinklings" going up in the store in the next day or two. All four have a little sprinkling of glitter in them as well. I'v got an idea for some doodle brad sprinklings to work on and a new mini album line and new paper line coming very soon.
In order to make all these "sprinklings" I needed to go a little nuts on my brad designing this weekend and I will be making the entire "71" brad pack available to you as well. Here is a preview, but keep in mind this collection is HUGE. Not even close to all the brads are shown in this preview! And if you buy it, you'll receive one of my "Brad Sprinklings" as a bonus for you to try.
