WOOT! WOOT! Summer's getting close!

WHAT A GREAT WEEK!
Crazy, yes! Busy, uha! But hey, it was in the high 70's all week and sunny and warm. We had 5 softball games and a soccer game Monday through Friday alone(another soccer game in the morning), and scouts and Jeff's tennis. . . We're counting the days until summer break! First camping trip is planned for the second week in June and I can't wait!!!

REMEMBERING THE BUG
I came across this photo the other day that I took a couple years ago. I thought I might want to rescrap it again, it's one of my alltime favorite photos. This mantis lived right outside our back door for about 6 weeks eating bugs that gathered around our porch light at night. It was so cool to walk outside each day and see him waiting for more pictures. I could probably do a whole album about this one bug. Earlier that spring we had ordered and hatched a Praying Mantin egg sack with my daycare kids, so I couldn't help but wonder if this was one of our babies! Maybe we'll find some this year! Beware, however.... they can catch and eat hummingbirds. Don't believe me, check this out!!! Sorry Julia, had to post this. No one believes me when I tell them.

Here's my new desktop for May, a week late! I used my good friend Sarah VanDyke's new quick page desktop wallpaper template at SBB that you can find RIGHT HERE and then added all kinds of digistuff about "ME". It's a great reminder everytime I turn on the laptop, of why I love all of this! So much! Don't know what I'd do without my "secret digi life", LOL!
