More Scrapping Done
Woohoo, I'm on a roll. I just haven't had my heart into designing new stuff this week, knowing that summer is almost over for me (class starts in less than two weeks) and because I have so much scrapping to do to get my albums caught up. It's always a summer goal for me to get my scrapbooks caught up, even back when I did paper layouts. So I can honestly say that I have COMPLETE scrapbooks of the last 11 years of our lives. Up until this last year, that is. I still have vacation shots from last July to use! I think the fact that I started designing is the main issue. I get going on new creations and forget to have fun doing the meaningful stuff, like journaling and scrapping. So, I've decided to dedicate this week to scrapping. So far I've gotten several layouts done, I'm quite proud of myself. My biggest challenge, however, has been fiding elements to use. I have to admit, after only having it for a month, I'm quite dependent on my ACDSee, and without the laptop I'm on my own. So here's the layouts I did last night.

Hole in the Wall One (complete credits here)

This place is so so cool. If you've never been to this neck of the woods you don't know what you are missing. This is the "Hole in the Wall" at Rialto Beach in the Olympic National Forest.

Hole in the Wall Two (complete credits here)

Too many pictures to get them all in on one page (this is actually the third, I had done one already).

Remembering the Arm

This is a funny story really (I'll put the journaling below). You can see the original layout I scraplifted by KSharonK and get all the credits here.

Oh, the arm. I can tell already that this is going to become a favorite Halloween decoration every single year. We bought it at a Halloween Warehouse in Spokane. Of course Jeff, right off the bat had all kinds of ideas for how to use "the arm". Yes, it became quite a game around our house the entire month of October.. First it was a simple game of "hide the arm" in such places as under the pillows, hanging out of a potted plant. But then it got a little more challenging to fool anyone. Zoe and I put it in the shower for Daddy to find one morning. He got us back good. First with Zoe. He hid it close to her bed and attached a string which led out the window where he waited for her to go to sleep. As she reached to turn her light off he pulled and the arm came flying down onto her! She screamed! A couple days later I went out to warm up the van before work. Jeff had once again rigged the arm to the door handle so that when I opened the door it cleverly reached out towards me. I am a little frightened to see where "the arm" will end up this year. Maybe Anya will burry it in the yard.

YIKES, Look at this!

Trying to stay cool here! We've been in and out of the kiddie pool and taken a few runs down the slip and slide this week. Zoe is off at Silverwood with the Girlscouts today so I think Max and I will go to family swim and see if that cools us a bit!

SILLY STRING....
You know the stuff. It shoots out sticky and stringy and gets all over everything! We can thank Aunt V. for this one. Max found it in the back of his closet (hmmmm. how did it get all the way back there?) the other day and it still had goo inside so we took it outside for a little fun!

And last but not least...
THE NEW AUGUST/SEPTEMBER GUEST CT!!!
So glad to meet you ladies and get to know you better!

That's it for today. You can still find my freebie glittery overlay below. Complete kits at PDW are still 60% off for a couple more days! Have a great rest of the week!
