CRAZINESS, I TELL YOU!

Softball Season Officially Over
Wow! What a tournament! O.K., here's the run down. Zoe's team has gone undefeated all season long which means they got the first place trophy tonight for league champions. The tournament has been a different story! They did well all week. We had our first game this morning against a tough competitor that we came close to loosing to twice before. They won the first game although it was a close one. Had a two hour break, came back to play another team at 4 p.m. It was close but we won. On to the final game against our tough competitors once again. They played such an intense game. It was 0 to 0 for most of the game. Then they started running them in and got 5 points. We quickly caught up with 5 of our own which put us at a tiebreaker for an extra inning. They hit in two, we hit in one, and then POOR ZOE had to be the last hitter up with 2 strikes out. She was pretty upset when the pitcher striked her out, but much harder or herself than anything. Until she saw the trophies and decided that "The second place tournament trophy is much prettier than the first place one". We didn't get home until 9:30 tonight! We are all beat! What an exciting season! P.S., the first place league trophy on the right has a built in night light into the ball! Pretty cool!

Other Happenings
Our town has a small town celebration each year on highschool graduation day with a pancake feed, farmers market downtown and a parade. We made it down for the feast this morning and left Max with a friend to see the parade while we went to Zoe's first game. He also got in a little Basketball in the backyard today. He is so animated in everything he does, it just cracks me up! I'm having a hard time getting multiple photos to post tonight. I'll try to get these two on here soon.

Other Heroes
Here's a layout I did last night of Max and his beloved Justice League! He just loves these guys he got for his Bday a couple years ago! The new show boasts characters a little different than you and I may remember. Check out those beefy chests.... and what happened to Aqua Man's groovy orange scaley suit?
