Wanted to Share Something Very Cute
I haven't tried adding video yet, so we'll see if this works. We brought the ducks in the other night to make sure they were still able to be let out without running away or anything. Jeff was planning on taking them to school on Thursday to each of the kids' classrooms. Sure enough, they still are in "follow the leader" mode. The kids really enjoyed sharing them with their classmates, and Jeff really enjoyed taking his first "personal day" of the year to bring them. He got so much done to get ready for the tennis banquet last night too. Tennis is officially OVER for the season. His little German exchange student (and I mean little, she's about 80 pounds I'd guess) took 2nd in state!!! Yeah for her and the rest of the team who earned the trophy for the most wins at the District Finals. They got a first, two thirds and a fourth place!
Zoe's Birthday Present---CHECK!!!
We've been wanting to get Zoe a digital camera for her Birthday this year, but didn't want to spend a lot of money on one because of her past history with dropping cameras, and her overall lack of responsibility, but didn't want to get anything that took terrible, low resolution photos. Finally got one today on Ebay, and for only $12 too! Hoping this will teach her a little more "RESPONSIBILITY", we can only hope right? It's a used DGX 308 Point and Shoot with 3.0 Mega Pixels. Seller claims it works great but is very slow (lag time) in taking multiple photos and does not come with a memory card (we can get one somewhere if we don't already have one). Here's what it looks like.
