HAPPY SPOT!

Two layouts done!
I'm in such a happy spot right now! We've had almost two weeks off from work/school. I've been reading, I've been designing, I've been scrapping! Well... really I've been traveling and cooking and cleaning up after my usually absent family. We're all spending time together though, and it is so nice. The kids have been having friends over too, which is something they rarely get to do when daycare is going on. I'm just more relaxed, ALREADY! It usually takes me at least three weeks to get to this point in the summer!

Here's two layouts I've done. First off, Max picking raspberries from the backyard today. We've never had more than a few berries off these plants because there was never enough sunlight. Now that our big old ant infested birch tree is gone (we got it cut down last October) we have more than enough sun!

and the second layout, Jeff and I on campus (which looks totally different after 11 years, let me tell you....) when we drove through town last week. We had to show the kids all the old hang outs and our old dorms, and the house we lived in when Zoe was born! Zoe took these pictures too, she is getting quite good!

Designing Bug, I can't stop!!!
I did two little kits up last night! I'm seriously considering applying for the new design team call at SBB next week, so I thought it would be a good idea to do some dappling and experimenting as to have something to show. Not sure if I will hold onto these for future use (hint, hint, SBB.....) or give them as freebies here yet. I'd show a sample, but Blogger is deciding to not let me add anymore photos again. I'll try adding them later!
