Mother's Day Celebration!!

Special Visitors

I was fortunate to have my own mommy visit us this year for Mother's Day! Thanks for coming up to see us Mom and Dad! We had a fantastic time, BBQ on Friday, soccer game Saturday morning followed by hanging out time, dinner out (to celebrate Max's birthday one more time), Wii play and more visiting, and then a Sunday morning photo shoot.

Another Birthday Celebration

Wow, lucky guy! Yet another celebration. It has become a tradition to bring Max to Rancho Chico for dinner around his birthday. They put a hat on him, and sing to him! He looks pretty excited!

My Orchid

I tried adopting a gorgeous pink orchid in Vancouver over spring break. We brought it with us from house to house as we visited family, but by the last couple days of the week, the poor plant did not look like it could survive another move. I left it with my SIL Janice (did it make it Janice?) and promised to get another one someday. Well...the kids and Jeff had this beauty waiting for me on the kitchen table Mother's Day morning. They even got a miniature "travel sized" orchid for my mom.

Sale Continues

Lastly

As you can see, I've been trying to revamp my blog. Now that I am officially "graduated" from my masters program, I am ready to get back into the things I enjoy and take a little break for awhile. This means I will be spending a lot more time with my kiddos and Jeff, getting this house sorted out, fixing up my yard (I filled the back of the van with flowers for the planters today), and playing on my computer (which just recently suffered from a virus, by the way...scary stuff).

Please bear with my playing around. When it comes to html, I am totally lost!

Have a great week!

My friend... why are you always hiding? You are gorgeous! But in every pic you are hiding yourself, or at least trying. Beautiful girl, stop being so silly. :)

Your friend!~G

The orchid is still alive! It lost all but 4 blossoms!
