SCHOOL's OUT FOR SUMMER!!!!

Yep, Friday was the last day. I have to say, it was the strangest feeling for me to finish up a school year at the same job as Jeff, attened the end of the year staff banquet together and then go home to a summer off! Gotta love it!

SO NOW THAT BREAK TIME HAS BEGUN....
I took the plunge, I bought ACDSee and I'm LOVING IT!!!! For those of you who haven't checked out this program yet, you must! You can see more HERE and try a free trial and check out the tutorial, etc. I'm going to be so organized with all my digistuff by the end of the summer! Summer Goal #1 .....Get Organized!

If you look at that photo really close, you may see a hint of how I've began to accomplish Summer Goal #2, Relax and Enjoy Life, already. Yep, me and the girls went out Saturday and got pedicures, followed by an evening out with just the fellas and no kiddos! It was terrific!!!

MAX's AWARD
We were so proud of this guy. His teacher called the other day to forwarn me that Max was receiving the "Principal's Award" at the last day awards assembly. We had to keep it a secret the whole week, and then I snuck in for the assempbly to see his face light up when they called his name and he joined the others up in front of everyone to hear the praise that the teacher had written about Max and his personality. I was a blushing mamma!

SPEAKING OF TRISH.....
She tagged me! Dang her! LOL! So here you go, a little about me....

1. regular or diet soda: Neither, I can't stand pop really. I'd rather drink plain water, iced tea or club soda....

2. salt or pepper: Pepper, on everything!

3. hot or cold weather: Hot, hot, hot! Can't stand being cold, but I've learned to bundle up when I don't have a choice.

4. dogs or cats: Dogs. Cat's just have way too much attitude.

5. dieting or exercise: Dieting is easier, but I think I need to learn to love both.

6. cooking or doing dishes: What kind of question is that? I'd much rather cook than clean. Luckily DH doesn't cook, so it's usually an even trade.

7. sleeping or shopping: Wow, that's tough. I'd have to say it's an even tie, unless I can sleep and dream about shopping.

8. Red Lobster or Outback Steakhouse: Steakhouse, I'm not a seafood person.

9. classical or hip hop music: Neither. Classic Rock, Folk, Alternative, Blue Grass, even Heavy Rock before hip hop.

10. dancing or playing sports: Dancing

11. back rub or foot rub: Can't I have both?

12. fruits or vegetables: Veggies! I've never been a big fruit eater. But I love my veggies!

13. Grey’s Anatomy or House: Neither.

14. coffee or tea: I would have said Tea a couple months ago, but recently I've been drinking both daily. It has to be a good cup of Joe though!

15. curling up with a good book or a night out on the town: Curling up with the laptop? Is that an option? I don't read much, always have too much to do. Night's out are nice on occasion, but only on occasion.

16. straight or curly hair: I go through stages. In the 90's I wore nothing but spiral perms. I've been straight for several years now.

17. skirts or shorts: On a bloated fat day, skirts. Other days, shorts.

18. burgers/hotdogs or chinese food: Chinese! With lots of chili sauce~

19. vacationing in Switzerland or Mexico: Never been to either place, so that's hard to answer. I'm looking forward to a trip to Ireland in a couple years! That's one of my dream destinations.

20. sports car or SUV: SUV, or Minivan at the moment. Gotta haul the crew and all their stuff!
