DRY SEA GRASS #360F
It was Jeff's idea, but well in need. Our 96 year old bedroom walls refuse to hold paint. Last time we painted was about three years ago, and it had crumbled so badly on those plaster walls that when Jeff took a scrapper to it, they just flaked all over (see photo). So hopefully we did it right this time. After heavy scrapping and two coats of heavy duty KILTZ Sealer/Primer we put on the paint. Zoe is on vacation to the coast with a friend so we were able to sleep in her room last night. 24 hours later, it's done! I just love the color!
NEW KITS
The First two from my "LIFE" Collection at SBB are up and in the store. You can find GROW FRILLS and GROW PAPERS, CREATE FRILLS and CREATE PAPERS in my store at SBB! Hope you like them, and in a couple more days I'll show you "LOVE" and my favorite, "LEARN".
CAN I SHARE OUR PETS WITH YOU?
OK, You saw Anya, the 100 pound dog the other day, but look what else is lurking around our house these days.
STICK BUGS
We got two of these critters from our friend Lisa (Lisabranka, for you digiscrappers). A guy she works with is raising them and had some babies to give away. This isn't the first time we've owned stick bugs. Zoe had one named Mitcha several years ago that we got as a quarter inch critter at a science fair. We had her for almost a year and she grew to about 5 inches before she died in the summer heat. Hoping these ones last as long, and don't (hmmmmm....reproduce) before then. They have tripled in size since we got them a couple weeks ago. How fun. Zoe named hers, not suprisingly, "Livicka" and Max named his "Speedy".
HENRY...
being Henry.
and the NEW TADPOLES
We have about 20 or so now. The ditch where we get them is drying up fast, so any of you locals reading this that want tadpoles better go grab them up. It's so fun to watch them turn into frogs. Not sure exactly where they hop off to each year. Maybe one of the neighbor's ponds. But it's fun to watch their transformation. We have a few salamanders this year too. More on them later.

Sis, you may have moisture in your walls. Be sure to check your gutters and downspouts. Kilz should do the trick. Nice color.
Ummmm, if I send you pics of my rooms....couldya pick a color scheme for me? I love your results and would never have even given that color a second look on the paint chip! Too fun!
Can I say that I LOVE that grow kit? But my fave is the learn too!
