Clever title, I know....
Just wanted to share some cute photos of Max that we've taken the last couple days. It's weird not having Zoe here (she's on a trip with a friend). Max has been a little lost without her entertaining, but HEY, no one's been arguing, picking on each other or bickering. It's been nice. One on one time is always nice with your kids. He's got to pick out all the movies, pick what we have for dinner, he's been pretty spoiled. Today we took him up to Winthrop for a day trip, played miniature golf, had ice cream and let him spend some allowance on more cowboy garb (be looking for those photos soon, and see Cowboy Week post below for more on that, LOL). Anyway, we took Max out fishing the other day and let him drive the boat (with the trolling motor, very slow). It made his day.

I call these photos, "YAY, I GET TO DRIVE DADDY'S BOAT, WOOHOOO, AND I DON'T EVEN CARE THAT I HAVE TO WEAR MY SIS' OLD TWEETY BIRD LIFE JACKET BECAUSE I LOST MINE AT ALTA LAKE!"

COWBOY WEEK!!
It's official. Max has dubbed this week "Cowboy Week" after inheriting his first pair of cowboy boots from a friend the other day. He's been wearing them every day. Then a couple days ago he announced that it was "Cowboy Week" and he didn't even have a hat. Max has been saving up allowance and Birthday money for over a year now and had quite a load in his bank, so we took him to the store and let him pick out a hat. Then, in the yard, he was striking poses and asking me to take his picture (that's a first, he's usually hiding). These were totally his own poses (although I did suggest he go lean on the tree). He had me absolutely cracking up. Not only because of his expressions, but those Canada socks (from the Canadian cousins), his watch and his racing shirt are just such a match with the hat and boots, don'tcha think?
