MY GUYS!!!!
We took a day trip to Winthrop, which is a small "Western Replica" town about 45 minutes from here. Since Max had dubbed the week "Cowboy Week", we felt it very appropriate to go for a drive. The main destination was to check out a new group camp site near there for future camping trips. It was nice. Below is a photo of the beach where Jeff and Max put down the football and kicked off the boots for a brief moment to splash around in the water. First off though, we stopped in Twisp to sample the Methow Valley Brewery's yummy brews and have a great lunch!
Then we headed back to Winthrop for a little window shopping, miniature golf, and of course some icecream! It had been a couple years since we'd been there to check out the sites. Max spent some of his allowance money (Jeff counted today, he has $62.00 saved up still) to buy this plastic cowboy gun and suction cup shooter with belt and amo holder. Now he's a real cowboy!
Christmas in July!!!!
